Cage crusher
The cage crusher reduces medium-hard, brittle and moist materials between concentric cages that rotate at high speed in opposite directions. Stepwise impact yields a uniform product at a compact energy demand.
Operating principle
Two or more concentric cages run in opposite directions. Material travels from the inside out and takes a further impact at each stage. The machine stays compact and energy-lean. Moist, medium-hard feeds clog less than in tight-gap crushers.
