Crushing technology
Chain crusher
The chain crusher reduces material by impact and throwing with freely moving chains on the rotor. Sticky and moist feeds are less prone to clogging; coarse tramp is more often ejected than jammed.
Operating principle
Chains hang from the rotor and strike the feed at high relative speed. Impact breaks agglomerates; throwing disperses moist lumps. Chain replacement is workshop-friendly without a heavy rotor strip-down. The machine tolerates tramp better than rigid hammer or roll crushers.
